HOW BIG IS YOUR ENVIRONMENTAL FOOTPRINT?

Have you ever thought about to what extent the daily activities we carry out pollute?

The amount of greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere that a certain activity causes is called “carbon footprint”. In order to calculate their footprint our students in 2nd Year Bachillerato HCS have reflected on the means of transport they use, their diet, the use of electricity they make, and their shopping and recycling habits, among others. After this analysis, they have considered the changes they could make in their lives to reduce their carbon footprint. If they put those changes into practice, it would certainly make a great New Year´s resolution, don´t you think?

Your turn: we encourage you to calculate your carbon footprint in the following site and pick up new habits to help the environment.

SMART XMAS
